Happy New Year 2026: A Message of Gratitude and Our Holiday Schedule

  • Dec 28, 2025
  • 3 min read

As we step into 2026, the entire team at Sushi Yorokobu BKK would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. Thank you for making 2025 an unforgettable year filled with shared "Yorokobu" (joy) at our Omakase counter.

Important Holiday Notice (Jan 1st - Jan 5th, 2026)

To ensure we maintain our unwavering standard of excellence, please take note of our upcoming holiday schedule:

  • January 1st - January 5th, 2026: CLOSED

  • January 6th, 2026 (Monday): OFFICIALLY REOPENING

Why We Are Closing: Our Commitment to Freshness

At Sushi Yorokobu, our philosophy is simple: No fresh fish, no service. As many of our connoisseurs know, our premium seafood is sourced directly from Toyosu Market in Japan. Due to the traditional Japanese New Year holidays, Toyosu Market will be closed during the first week of January.

Without the daily arrival of the finest seasonal catch from Japan, we cannot provide the authentic Edomae experience you deserve. Therefore, we choose to rest alongside the market and prepare for a grand reopening on January 6th, when the first and freshest shipments of 2026 arrive in Bangkok.

Start Your 2026 with the Finest Omakase

Reservations for January 6th onwards are now open! Be among the first to taste the freshest catch of the New Year. Space at our 12-seat counter is limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.

We look forward to serving you again soon!

We look forward to welcoming you back on January 6th, 2026, with the freshest arrivals from Toyosu Market.

Elevate Your Bangkok Dining Experience

Mastering these simple steps will not only make you feel more confident but will also deepen your connection with the food and the chef. At Sushi Yorokobu BKK, we welcome both beginners and seasoned sushi lovers to enjoy the "Yorokobu" (joy) of a perfectly executed meal.
